Stuart Williams, Owner/Operator
Arborist, Forester, Firefighter
I was born and raised in Ashland, Oregon. I graduated from Ashland High School in 1998. I graduated from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ 2006 with a B.S. in Business Administration (emphasis Economics) and minor in Spanish.
I am an ISA certified arborist, and licensed contractor. I am also a qualified Type 1 firefighter.
I worked as a wildland firefighter for the U.S. Forest Service for a decade. 7 seasons with Globe Hotshots in Arizona, and 1 season with Ukonom Hotshots in Northern California. I have also worked a number of fires seasons for private fire crews, serving 14 seasons on the fireline in total.
My position as a sawyer provided excellent saw training and mentorship for tree felling and general saw operation. In addition to learning the chainsaw, I was also practicing forestry and learning about fire behavior. This experience would eventually lead to work in the private sector, doing similar work but for land owners and nonprofit organizations.

International Society of Arborists (ISA) has developed industry standards for tree care. It issues certifications. This certification is required by LCB for license application.
Firefighter Type One, aka Advanced Firefighter or [FFT1], is a wildland fire qualification which allows a firefighter to perform the duties of a squad boss, amongst other tasks
